We recommend travelling to Kaiserslautern by train. For early bookers, there are often cheaper tickets available for fixed connections in long-distance trains (ICE/IC) and with no or limited cancellation options.

The campus of the Technical University Kaiserslautern is located at the edge of the city. Several busses take you to Uni Zentral from the main station, but the frequent, quick and direct connections are 105 and 115 (information on connections, results only in German, but the website of the Deutsche Bahn, contains bus connections, too).
