Research Interests

I am interested in syntactic developmental patterns in L1 and L2 acquisition processes in children and adults. In my first master thesis, I investigated syntactic proficiency in Russian-German bilingual children for both languages. The second master thesis dealt with age effects and the critical period hypothesis in Russian-German and English-German bilingual adults. In my current project, I am focusing on syntactic representations in L1 and L2 German children and adults by using a syntactic priming paradigm. Specifically, I am looking at processing divergences across groups and how these change over development.
