Research Interests
Successful interaction with a dynamic environment is vital for humans’ survival. I am interested in how humans perceive the environment and control their actions accordingly. I seek to explain how locomotor or manual behavior is guided by information in a dynamic environment. Using virtual reality, eye tracking, and computer modeling techniques, I manipulate what participants see in virtual environments, measure and model their behaviors. Currently, I am investigating the visual control of locomotor interception and road crossing.
